London. Brazilian business magazine IstoÉ Dinheiro selected Granito & Capital’s CEO, Daniela Barone Soares, as one of the 20 people that are changing Brazil and the world.
Portrayed as a representative of a new generation of bankers that is simultaneously seeking profits and purpose, the magazine highlights her role as CEO of Granito & Capital, a boutique investment bank “different from competitors in Wall Street or in the City” as it wishes to improve how capitalism operates. It “leverages corporations and businesses of high social impact and helps to fund transformative solutions with global scope,” writes IstoÉ Dinheiro.
The list includes also Elon Musk (CEO of Tesla and SpaceX), Justin Trudeau (Prime Minister of Canada), Melinda Gates (co-founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation) or Brian Chesky (CEO of Airbnb).
London-based Granito & Capital is one of the world’s first financial advisory companies devoted to the impact economy, that is, pursuing financial return alongside social and environmental impact. Founded in 2017, it is fully owned by the Granito Group, a holding company designed to help transforming the global economy into an impact economy.
