Cecile Biccari

Cecile Biccari has 20 years of professional development at the crossroads between sustainable development, corporate responsibilities, commercial imperatives, and financial market operations.

She joined RobecoSAM in 2008 where she worked as a Senior Analyst & Sustainability Advisor (2008-2014) and Sustainability Investing Client Specialist (2014-2015). During her period at RobecoSAM, she advised institutional investors on implementing Responsible Investment strategies and on integrating financially material ESG factors across different asset classes. She has also supported investment teams within the Robeco group in integrating sustainability insights into fundamental analysis and investment decisions.

Prior to joining RobecoSAM, Cécile was a Socially-Responsible Investment (SRI) Analyst and Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) Coordinator at HSBC Global Asset Management in London (2006-2008).

She also spent more than four years at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) in Geneva, working, as Development Business Solutions Leader, with corporations on new business models for low-income consumers (2002-2006).

After leaving RobecoSAM, Cecile joined Contrast Capital, an independent asset advisory firm located in Zurich, Switzerland. Contrast Capital is a partner organization of the Granito Group.

She is the co-author of “Integrated Reporting, Quality of Management and Financial Performance” published in the Journal of Applied Corporate Finance (2014), and the author of “The Evolving Role of Sustainability in Asset Manager Selection” published in Responsible Investor (2014).

Cécile has a BSc in Government & History from the London School of Economics (LSE).
