Ziad Qatami

Ziad has more than 15 years of banking experience with Citigroup in multiple countries in the Middle East. He was the head of institutional banking for Egypt, Jordan, and Iraq, covering large corporates, governments, and financial institutions.
Additionally, Ziad spent several years as part of the Middle East Debt Capital Markets and Islamic Finance team in Dubai, originating and leading landmark bonds and Sukuk transactions across the region.
He graduated in Business Administration with a finance emphasis from the American University of Beirut (AUB, 2005), holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Finance from IE Business School in Madrid (Instituto de Empresa, 2009), and is currently completing an Executive Master’s degree in Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE, 2023).
